SubTrack v0.7.0 — If you have any questions about using SubTrack, check out the FAQs below. For other questions, contact our support team.
Getting Started
Extract the downloaded ZIP file and double-click SubTrack.exe. No installation or setup wizard is required.
SubTrack runs as a standalone Windows application. If the required .NET Desktop Runtime is missing, Windows may prompt you to install it.
Click the “Add” button in the main window or press CTRL + N. Enter the subscription name, cost, billing cycle, and first billing date.
How SubTrack Works
Monthly totals are calculated by summing all active subscriptions billed monthly.
Yearly totals include all active annual subscriptions plus the projected annual cost of monthly subscriptions.
SubTrack uses the first billing cycle date you enter and calculates upcoming renewals automatically.
Yes. SubTrack can display Windows notifications when a subscription is approaching its billing date.
Ensure subscriptions are marked active correctly and billing cycles and costs are entered accurately.
SubTrack stores all subscription data locally on your device in a JSON file. No data is transmitted to external servers. (%AppData%\SubTrack\)
Managing Subscriptions
Disabled subscriptions are excluded from totals and moved to the Disabled view but remain saved.
Double-click a subscription to edit it. From there you can update or delete it.
The Verify button records when a subscription’s billing information was last confirmed.
The Last Verified date records when you last confirmed that a subscription’s price and billing cycle are still correct.
Subscription prices and billing cycles can change over time. Verification ensures stored details remain accurate.
Review Mode scans your subscriptions and highlights items that have not been verified recently. This helps ensure your subscription costs and billing cycles remain accurate.
You can select a color when adding or editing a subscription.
